This holidays.

This holidays I will be spending time with my family and at the same try to study hard because the exams are after the holidays. I have never studied in holiday before, but now I am at university and things are what they are like. I don´t know how I´ll do it. That´s why I will create a schedule so that I could be organized and study every day.

I will also give some free time to myself, becasue I think I deserve it. I didn´t stop working all the semester so it is always good to have free time for our friends and hobbies. Eventhoug Christmas holidays are going to be short, I have to take advantage of time I have and study as I said.

I know it is going to be hard but I really want to get good marks so that my family feel proud of me and I also want to feel proud and good with myself. I won´t be going anywhere for holidays. But,I don´t mind because I think holidays are for family and ourselves. 

In conclusion, for holidays I will spend time with my family and study. I want this holidays to be very long so that I could do everything. 

Recycling.

When we use papers, plastic, glas, cartoon...we don´t realize that these products are made thanks to nature. We feel that these products are never going to end and we sometimes use them massively and the worset thing is that we don´t recycle sometimes. Recycling is very important and specially in this era, because now nature needs us to give it time to produce more, more than ever. So that we could life a comfortable life, we use everything that nature gives us. Neverthelles, we don´t give her time to grow.
Eventhough this is happening, we don´t have to forget that more and more people everyday recycle and care about the nature, That is why I think that the best way to guarantee a good future to the nature is recycle but most important,is to use just what we need. Because sometimes we overuse whithout thinking.
More and more houses as I said are being part of a big recycling project that is being very succesful. We also have to take responsability and take care of our big home, the Earth by taking some measures such as not throwing plastic in the sea or in the ground, not using a small part of the paper and then use another one...And so on. So, If we put these measures on action, we will have some very good results.
To conclude, nature gives us more than we give her. That is why we have to create a balance and not putting more weight over nature. Furthermore, we have to realize that we sometimes forget, that we are not the only beings that live on Earth. So we have to be careful of something that we share with another beings.

The purpose of education.

Education in our world is so important that thanks to it we become better persones and we could change the world. Whe are who whe are because we have been educated in a certain way. Education is an endless bridge that take us to the fact of analyzing, understanding and evaluating.

Through the histry, education has changed a lot. It was firstly learn to read and write and now it means to know how the world works. Eventough we are been educated, the education that we are having is not complet. In school we learn what they teach and we memorize just to pass our exams.

Nevertheless, we do not learn how to be creative and we do not even have enough time to explore what we are really interested in and we really love. This education method is very rudimentary and somehow we have to transform it into a more creative and effective education.

Much of the information we learn is very useful in real life. Nevertheless, the problem is how to introduce this information to real life. Because sometimes we see what we learn very far of real life. And this is a very big problem that must be solved.

In additio some countries give no importance to art like dancing, music, acting, painting...And this is a very sad fact. They consider this education unuseful and they think it will not take us anywhere. But the truth is that art is very important so that we could develop our habilities.

In conclusion, education is the pillar of our world but some countries do not know how to create a beter and more effective one. From my point of view, we should consider ourselves very lucky and for having an education, becasue in some places children do not know what education is.

TECHNOLOGY IN THE FUTURE.

Nowadays we all are using technology for everything, for work, for university homeworks and projects, to send mesages... I know that some people are addicted to it and the worst is that they are not doing nothing useful with it.They just lose the time of a whole wonderful day playing video games, chatting or watching movies or series. 

But from my point of view not all of us are doing that. Some people are sure using technology just when they have to or need it. That is why I think that being addicted depends on you and how you use it. Nevertheless, people are still meeting each other in restaurants, cafes, cinemas...and I hope things still be the same.

That is why I think that in the furture, technology and it´s influence will be the same but not in every aspect. I don´t believe that in the future people will live in virtual lifes or live like machines. And this depends on us If we want it to be like this or to get worse.

For this reason we should be conscious and not letting technology destroy our social life or our world. Furthermore, we have to consider it as an instrument that help us to do better our work, homework, projects... and not a life where we can hide.

Overall, me must teach the next generation how not to depend on technology for everythung and how to us it safely. They should learn from us good things  and we also should be a better example for them.

University.

When I was at high school I couldn'y imagine myself at university. Because for me it was a very different world. But now that I am studyin at university I realized that I was wrong. In fact university is bigger, different, it has  big number of students in class...but I like it. I met a lot of people and I have made some good friend that now are very close to me.  My classmates are very nice and funny and my teachers are also good and sweet with us. Furthermore, there is something that I specially like in my degree and it is that lessons are taught in English, in contrast as high school. One of my favourite subjects is contemporary culture, because I have always loved to know more and more about other countries,cultures, languages...So, this subject is perfect for me and specially these practices that we do. All in all I could say that university is not what I expected.

Violence against women.

Nowadays violence against women is very common and it is not getting down. According to stadistcs violence against women is increasing more day by day all around the world.So, to solve these problems we have to give these victims some emotional and social support, make it more public and try to make these women lose fair of repot. For me this problem is one of the biggest problems of all times and it is more if it is happening in some countries that it is assumed to be developed en every aspects.

Social inequality.

Nowaday, in 2015, it's very sad to walk on the street and see people begging for money and at the same time, people wearing expensive brand new clothes.
Furthermore, inequality is increasing more and more because poor people is getting poorer and rich people is getting richest. Nevertheless, if society keep developing like this, the world will be divided in two economic parts, the poor part and the rich part. In that way, middle class will dessapear. In adittion, if we keep thinking just in our selves, we won't be able to help other people and help the world to develop equaly, and this is a real problem for me.
To solve these problems we could try to delete those images of people begging for money by helping them and giving them a job. Eventhough, it's difficult to find a a job nowadays, people shouldn't lose hope and try more and more. We also could create more and more humanity charities to help them, specially rich people, that won't have any problem to help with some money for food, clothes, a house.... And finally, the most important thing now is these people's dignity, because they have one, and we shouldn't tread it or make them tread it.

Spain as a new home.

When I first came here, I was just 5 years old. At first sight, everything was very different for me, like the language, people, traditions, culture and even food. My firts day at school was like going to the moon because I couldn't understand what was the teacher or my classmates saying. But, I remember that my teacher was very kind to me. With some time and efford I got used to the way of living in Spain and I learnt Spanish also and I remember that learning Spanish didn't take me a long time and also it wasn't very difficult to me. A year after, I learnt a lot of things and I also made lots of friends. Eventhough I live in Spain, I'm still arabic and I didn't forget anything of my culture or my religion. What is more, nowadays I'm learning more and more about my arabic world because I always found time to it and I really love to do it. What is more, I go to Morocco every summer since I live here and for me is impossible to forget my origins and family, because I'm proud of them.

The end of the story.

When the police officer saw that the man would really jump he thought about a better solution. The first thing came ti his mind was the man's girlfriend. Then he searched for his phone number and call her so that she could get there and convince him not to jump. In fact he called her and she answered him and when she was told about everything, she managed to get there at time. When she finally arrived, the first thing she did is talk to him. She talked to him for two hours and finally she had a surprise for him and the surprise was that she was pregnant. When he knew about the baby he thought twice before doing anything and finally he decided to forget about the suicide idea and keep living his life with her. Finally, both got home again like nothing happened. But, three months ago he noticed that she actually wasn't pregnant and he asked her about it all. And suddenly, she said to him that what she did is lie to him and tell him that she was pregnant so that he wouldn't jump. Then, he was in a shock, but he recognized how much she loves him and why she did such a thing.

Solution paragraph from Eva Galvis.

One solution is a better education. In our homes and in school they should teach us and make us aware since we are little that everyone is the same, everyone has the same rights, no matter what country you are from, what religion you have or what colour your skin is. Other solution is to respect everyone and do not judge without knowing, as simple as that.

Problem paragraph.

Racism is one of the biggest problems in the world till now. It has been a serious problem through the history and because of it big wars and battles were produced. It is actually and ideology that a lot of people has because of what they saw or because of their education. Furthermore, sometimes it is very difficult to take them out from this ideology and explain to them that those ideas that they have on their minds are wrong. Racist people are convinced that we are different because of the colour of our skin, our religion or culture. For me all these  features make us richest but for them these feautures are bad for the world.

Punk music and classic music.

Going to a punk music concerts is different from watching a classic music concert. Punk music apperead in 1970 in England and it's carachterized for using simple melodies and quick compasses. In addition, this style of music has lyrics of protest because somehow it tries to change or critisize society. Also the public is dinamic and dances following the rhythm of the music. In contrast, classic music apperead between 1750 and 1820 in Europe, which means it's too much older than punk. Furthermore, this style is known by being worship, refined, etilist and it's always played in formal ambient. The public is not the same as punk's public because in this one the public stays silent while it admires the beauty of what they are watching or listening. In addition, classic music is asociated to an orchestra that has a big variety of instruments, such as percussion, string and wind instuments. And another difference from punk music is that classic music has a director that directs all the orchestra. Although punk and classic are both styles of music, when you listen to one or to another you clearly see the difference.

My favourite sports.

Valleyball and football are my favourite sports, but the difference is that I know how to play valleyball but not how to play football. Sport is very important in our life, but for some reasons we can't keep on doing it or practicing it. I personally used to play valleyball three years ago and  I used to love. During this time I learnt a lot of things thanks to that sport. It makes you learn how to contact with your team members and how to make harmony between all of you. It also has a lot of good and possitive aspects such as is very dinamic, healthy, exciting and entertaining. You also can play it inside or outside doors, for example you can play it on the beach. For me it has no negative points, but if I have to say one, I would say that if you don't take care about where you put your feet and fall you could hurt yoursel. In conclusion, sport as I said is esential in our lifes and we should keep practising it and not letting life pressure to take us far of it. Furthermore, it can take us out of bad moods, live more and have a better quality of life.

Thing that I like to do.

In my free time, I used to do theatre because it's a speacial activity for me. When you act you feel like you are someone else and acting means that you can live more than one life. Because every play has a different story and when you reflect that story on  stage you are living another life. Furthermore, acting can help you to lose the fear of speaking or telling your opinion in public and it also makes you more social. All these point are very important, because all of us some day will have to talk or do something in public. That's why I recommend doing theatre if someone has difficults to do something in front of many people. But the most important thing is and will always be that you have fun while you get some useful qualities.

Places where I want to go.

When I was a child I used to dream of travelling around all the world. Now I still want to do it, but I know it's kind a difficult. However, I have a list of places that I really want to visit and I will do all I can to make this happen. Those places are,  in the first place Saudi Arabia specially Meca and then the UK specially London, Turkey specially Estambul and Adana, France and Germany. Also, there are some places in North Africa that I really want to visit, but it's such difficult because of the wars and the politic problems there. It's very sad to me and to all of us to know that some beautiful countries full of culture, history and good people are being destroyed. People in those countries are living with broken hearts and no hope. I am shure that they don't want anything in a gold plate, they just want to live in peace and get justice, because they are being treaties with a lot of injustice. However, I know that for these people this path is and will be very long, but I have a feeling that in the end the winners are going to be those that are good.

Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare's works that I really liked. From my point of view, I thing it doesn't just revolves around an impossible love. Furthemore, it manifests a lots of social problems and it critique the society of that time. Because the main problems of why those two lovers couldn't live their love in peace and freedom is because their families didn't alowed them. Specially because of their clash and enmity. I like Shakespeare's works because he talks about a lots of problems of society hidden under the main story. In that case, under the love story.

Hunt of elephants.

Hunting elephants just for their fungs is something inhuman and a shame. A lot of hunters do that without thinking in the poor animal. They just kill them for money and to traffic with their fungs. Hearing these news nowadays is something really sad, because we suppost to be living in a progressive world, in 2015. But actually, nowadays all that matters is money and prestige. But, the worst think is that they know that elephants are endengered animals, and if we don't take care of them and keep them alive, they will be extinct in the future. I don't know how they can't notice how bad is that fact. People and specially those who hunt, use their inteligent to think that what they are doing is correct. They think that animals have no feelings or brain, but they are wrong. Animals are not stupid, they are just inocent and have no voice to defend themselves. All they have is their physical power but sadly and unfortunatlly weapons are stronger. To conclude, I don't know how this will end but all I know is that Newton was right when he said: there are two things that are infinity, universe and the human stupidity.

Dear Ahlam, I think your relationship with you mother is beautifull and very close because you tell her everything about you and that is very personal. Maybe you can improve your text by saying something you don't like about her, you can say something she does that annoys you. That way, your text has the things you don't like about her and it is more complete.

Describing someone.

My support is my mother. My mom is one of the nicest and kindest person in the world. Although, she is beautiful from outside and inside.
For me she is very strong, because she keeps my family strong and united. I really love her and I consider her like a friend. Actually, she is everything for me. I tell her when I have problems and she understands me as well. Also, she always tries to help me and my sisters. Because, if we are not okay, she won't be good.
She is a very understanding person and she always wishes the best for us.

The Giant's Causeway.

This place is called The Giant's Causeway and it is located in the middle of the sea in Ireland. It has a lots of octogonal brown rocks that give that symmetrical shape.
It is a really beautiful and magical place. Even though, it's not very colorful.
As we can see, it's an unhabitant place. However, I  don't see it like a peaceful place, because of the sea and the violent movement of the waves that make me feel scary. However, the sky is very clear and the clouds very big and beautiful.
In conclusion, for me this place is very misterious, attractive and unforgettable.

GUERNICA

The Guernica is a very famous painting of the Spanish Pablo Picasso that was painted in Spain's Civil War.
At first sight all I can see is pain in the faces of the characters. This painting transmits to me a lot of sadness, pain and pessimism.
When I look at it I feel very sad and sorry of what happened in that war. I also feel confused, because everything is jumbled. I feel very sorry of the mothers that lost their children and also the children who lost their families and all their dreams of a peaceful life.
Not just that, I also feel surprised because of all the feeling that this painting has transmited to me.
To  conclude, the Civil War was one of the biggest and bloodiest wars in Spain. And it has left a lots of bad memories.

My first class.

In Alejandros's class we did some creative exercises. I personally liked the mapping, because it was entertaining and interesting.  We had to choose an idea and then match it with other second ideas. I think the point of this exercise was that we write the first things that come to our minds without stopping, so that we could express better.
I actually really liked this idea and I did something like this last year.
